Thanks to u/foregroundnoises for staying the course for so long (and archiving softsubs). Thanks to Grub for a significant amount of detective work and assistance in getting the library off the ground. Thanks to u/huh009 for their constant stream of corrections to the library spreadsheet, and obscure raws every time I can't find something. Thanks to u/aymeric000 for their past and recent work on blu ray sourcing and muxing, and their French language contributions. I appreciate all of you, even the ones who silently lurked and thought nice things! There's also a lot of wonderful memes that have been produced over the years and I'm all for it. You're all troopers and I respect you.ĪND YOU! There's been a lot of great people in the community who have sent awesome encouragement and compliments. It takes a long time, the guys all yell at each other, Kansai dialect gets really wacky, etc. Pretty much all translators - Translating this stuff is not easy. Good taste in ridiculous Wednesday Downtown and Knight Scoop episodes and for picking up on the archival efforts and making it way better than I ever imagined because I could not keep the 1.0 version of it in any working order.ĮrnieYoung - Like really, I don't even bother searching for raws, I just go immediately to the forums where Ernie posts. u/Bipedal - For similar reasons that you put down for me, hah. Been subbing together for so goddamn long! Sacro - Puts up with a lot of my bullshit and laziness. I dunno how you do it, I would've given up and cried in a corner if I were in your position. u/Elestriel and /u/Moocau - Powered through QC backlogs like a champ. Major thanks to you, always thorough and thoughtful in translating some really tricky dialog. u/conjyak - Such a helpful and knowledgeable translator that I've worked with for many years. What a great idea, it's nice to see some positivity! I'm sure that I'm still missing a few people, especially those from way back when I first started watching, but still, I want to say thank you and I really appreciate your work even if I can't recall your name at this moment >.< I definitely wouldn't be as deep into gaki, more specifically subbing aspect of it, if it wasn't for them. I watched quite a few translated videos done by Tofupanda before learning about subbing and helping out a bit. I'd also like to thank all the people that worked with Tofupanda and of course /u/otviss. So, big thank you to Shibatabread This community would been very different if it wasn't for you! It must've been at least 12 years ago when I found his translations, cause my Gaki forum account is 12 years old and I've watched before opening an account.

Everyone has already mention all the usual ones (big thank you to all of them of course) but I'd like to add ones that I haven't seen in this thread yet.įirst is /u/shibatabread Newer members may not recognize him, but Shibatabread is who got me, along with many others, into Gaki way back.
